Hi
Ladies,
Now
I know you ladies have heard or know that our body is fully connected in some
form or another. Your pinky toe is connected to your liver, and your middle
finger is connected to your big toe. A nerve connects to another nerve that
connects everything, one long tree branch. Have you all ever thought that some
of the back pains you may have may be connected to how you treat your feet.
Even though your feet may not hurt, they may direct that pain somewhere else.
Maybe this will be an easier explanation,
hunger headaches. Your stomach doesn’t necessarily hurt (may growl but no pain)
but you have a pounding headache because you haven’t eaten. It goes with many
other parts of your body they all are connected.
I just want you all to think about that.
If
you are having difficulties moving your feet it may not be a centralized foot
problem. For example, if you pinched or hurt a nerve in the lower back and it
is irritated or compressed, it can cause pain to radiate along the major
sciatic nerve and into the foot. The sciatic is composed of five nerves that
join at the lower part of the spine, the sciatic nerve extends down the back of
each leg all the way to the toes and connects the spinal cord with the many of
the muscles in the leg and foot.
Which could result in a variety of foot
issues:
Restricted ability to bring the foot up (heel
walk) This specific symptom is the inability to bring the foot upward and may
be numbness in the middle lower leg and foot. Heel walk may occur if one of the
spinal nerve roots in the lower back that innervates the sciatic nerve is
affected.
Foot
heaviness or weakness (foot drop) Foot drop refers to a weak or heavy feeling
that makes it difficult or impossible to flex the ankle and bring the front of
the foot up. Foot drop due to nerve root problem will usually produce pain that
radiates down the outside of the calf and over the top of the foot to the big
toe.
Difficulty
walking on tiptoes, bottom of foot pain may happen. Typical symptoms of pain in
the bottom of the foot may include weakness in the calf muscle, making it hard
to walk on the tiptoes, raise the heel off the ground, or even complete
everyday activities like walking or driving.
If you think you may have any of these go
to the doctor. There are no home remedies or quick fixes go to your traditional
doctor not your podiatrist. If you ladies have any other problems go the
doctor.
Let us know what they said. If you
had any of these problems let us know we want to hear from you, your solutions
and problems.
