How to Keep Sweaty Feet at Bay

I know you all are as excited as l am about this beautiful weather we’re having this season. It’s great weather to go jogging, walking, or just a fun lunch with friends, but with heat comes sweat. With all this hot weather we are at risk of some very sweaty feet so I just wanted to give you ladies some tips on how to stay away from wet feet and quick tips on smelly feet.
Ladies don’t be embarrassed about a little moisture in the feet department. There are over 250,000 sweat glands in the foot; they have to be used sometimes. There are studies that say the bacteria that lives on your skin and in your shoes eats your sweat. It produces an acid byproduct that reeks, according to some studies. It's a natural process, but luckily you can reduce the bacteria by creating a drier habitat for your feet

Tip 1 for a sweaty foot is talcum powder! Dust talcum powder on your feet, on your sandals, in your sneakers, wherever you’re about to stick your foot. Dust powder on it first. Talcum powder is an astringent it will dry out your feet. Option two is baking soda fights against bacteria, and number three is cornstarch helps absorb sweat.
Use one or all of the above and you should have the driest feet in the land.

Tip 2 do a tea soak. Yes, a tea soak. Soak your feet for 30minutes a day for a week in black tea and the tannic should dry out your feet reducing its sweat production. Or possibly Apply aluminum acetate. This will dry out your feet. Mix 1 packet Domeboro powder or 2 tablespoons Burow's Solution in 1 pint of water. Soak for 10 to 20 minutes at a time.

Tip 3, Remember to wash, rotate, and take off your shoes often. Allow your feet and shoes to breath and be refreshed. Switch out the padding in the shoe every so often or simply throw it in the wash. Remember it takes a full 24 hours to allow your shoes to dry, don’t rush the process it will only lead to worst results.

Tip 4 I know you all will be so surprised by this last tip for sweaty feet. DEORADANT. You can use the same antiperspirant that you use for under your arms as for the bottom of your feet. I suggest using two different sticks, but whatever floats your boat.

Now you all about these stinky feet we have a few options for you as well.

Tip 1 :Wash your socks you all, and if possible wash them with bleach. The sweat in your foot is absorbed by the sock and dried when you take them off. If you reuse your socks without washing you are reheating the old sweat which can create a smell. So make sure you wash your socks, even more helpful to wash them inside out to remove all of the skin flakes.

Tip 2 : Use cedar wood or cloves to freshen your shoes. Allow them to sit in your shoes for about a week and the smell will slowly disappear.

Tip 3: Mix vinegar in water. This makes skin more acidic. Add a 1/2 cup vinegar for every 1 quart of water.
Keep in mind that some people's foot odor can be described as "vinegary" so if this is you, this soak might make things worse
There are a bunch of different foot soaks to remedy a bunch of ailments.
Salt Water: Using ½ cup of kosher salt for every quart of water, soak your feet for approximately twenty minutes each day. Do not rinse your feet after removing them from the water. Instead, dry them thoroughly and go about your day.

Bleach: Use bleach with caution; it has the potential to over-dry your feet and skin. Add two tbsp of bleach to a gallon of warm water and soak your feet in the solution for five to ten minutes a day for one week. If you find this solution dries your skin too much, try adding a little baby oil to it before soaking.
These three are geared more for smell reduction

The forth and final tip my wonderful readers: Wash your feet on a daily basis. If you sweat a lot wash them twice a day put on some powder or deodorant and should be able to keep the moisture and bacteria away which is where the smell comes from.

An extra tip on socks: Wear wicking socks made of natural or acrylic fiber blends that draw the moisture away from your feet instead of trapping it. Some synthetic blends are designed to wick moisture away from the skin and work best to keep the feet dry. One hundred percent cotton socks absorb moisture but do not wick it away from the skin and frequently lead to blisters, so they should be avoided.

We have given you guys a bunch of options. If any questions please let us know. If you have any other suggestions let us know as well, we want to know what worked and what didn’t. We care about you all and want to hear from you guys.

Interesting Foot Facts

Hi you all we are going to talk about the best topic there is. Feet! Doesn’t that just sound sexy? We are about to find out some fun tips about our feet, dog feet, baby feet, every foot. Just a tip filled article that will blow your mind with some of the strangest things! You all set up and prepared?

·      You know how babies feet are just so adorable and pudgy. It’s because all babies are born with a pad of fat where an arch would normally be in an adult foot, which makes them appear flat and cutely chubby. In fact, arches don't usually show up until children are about 2 ½ years old

·      It always quicker for your manicure to grow out before your pedicure and that because your toenails grow much more slowly — about 1 mm per month, according to the American Academy of Dermatology. Whereas fingernails grow an average of 0.1 mm a day, it takes at least five to six months to grow an entirely new toenail.

·      Hint Hint, Wink Wink for the fellas. How to know if a woman wants you, just look at her feet. A UK study covered in the Telegraph found that when a woman is attracted to a man, she's likely to move her feet away from her body, in a more open stance. Signs she’s not interested? Sitting cross-legged or with her feet tucked under her body. While men don't display attraction through their foot position, a study author Geoffrey Beattie, PhD, found that men tend to move their feet more when they're nervous, while jittery women keep their feet still.

·      Going barefoot is best for your feet, joints and overall posture. A South African study in the podiatry journal The Foot, in 2007, studied 180 modern humans from three different population groups (Sotho, Zulu, and European) and compared them to 2,000-year-old skeletons. The researchers concluded that people had healthier feet and posture before the invention of shoes. The Zulu, who often go barefoot, had the healthiest feet of the modern humans. So if your feet hurt or back aches, walk around barefoot for a little while and see how well that works.

·      Animals can be divided into “plantigrades” — creatures that walk on the whole of their feet (like people, bears, baboons, alligators and frogs) – and “digitigrade” – creatures that walk on their toes (like dogs, cats, birds and dinosaurs).
·      Butterflies taste with their feet, gannets incubate eggs under their webbed feet and elephants use their feet to hear – they pick up vibrations of the earth through their soles.

·      Squirrels and dogs have sweaty feet: their sweat glands are between the footpads and paws between toes,; when they get hot or excited they leave wet tracks. They also use foot sweat to mark their territorial trees. For humans the sweat glands in your feet produce half a pint of moisture everyday, you have over 250,000 sweat glands they should be doing something. Also did you know the average person takes 10,000 steps a day that is 115,000 miles in a lifetime you can circle the world 4 times. Unsurprisingly, you know the average woman walks 3 more miles a day than the average male.

What Shoes Go With What

Hello you all, thanks for joining us. I know you all can barely contain your excitement for todays topic. School is back in session so the “less is more is” idea is out the window. You now have to be presentable as you go in class and meet people; we all know how vital first impressions are. So we are going to help you ladies make the best ones. I guess a good amount of you all have bought new shoes either for yourself, your kids, or your waiting until refund checks drop to spurge and shop until you drop. We are going to give you ladies tips on how to dress your shoes with the right outfit, because black vans do not go with everything. Trust me I tried.

Let’s start with old faithful: Wedges. I personally not a fan but everything is not for everybody as a young rapper once said.
Wedges are very comfortable and fashionable. They can go with nearly every outfit. They vary in height, material, and texture just in the heel. Wedges add definition and shape to heavy ankles, making them appear thinner. It goes with casual dresses, trousers, and knee length dresses. Wedges can look a little clunky, especially when paired with very tight-fitting clothing.

The up and coming star is the: kitten heel. They have been trying to steal the spotlight for a good amount of time. Do you think they are do a reboot the same way they did sneaker wedges? Stop production and then all of a sudden flood the market with them.
Back to the shoes, This is practical alternative to the pump works with both office attire and eveningwear, and the shorter heel makes them super-comfortable. Kitten heels also look great with uber-feminine retro looks a la Audrey Hepburn. I feel if you are a bit younger you have to work harder to not make them add age to you. But they are completely workable and very trendy.

My favorite shoes to look at: The Stiletto
Stilettos -- the ultimate in sexy -- make your legs look amazing. Wear these shoes with pencil skirts or slim pants. Avoid wearing stilettos with mini skirts you don’t want your woo-haa saying hello to everyone at every slip. There is a fine line between sexy and trashy, and those pairing crosses it most time, but I believe every rule has exceptions. Stilettos are the most hunted of high heels when it comes to prescribed events. It works much better with long and voluminous full length dresses; it can also toil with short dresses. It can be paired with short dresses for clubbing, birthday and parties. Especially try with palazzo pants or a nice full midi skirt. You will thank me. Also nude(that match your complexion not the actual color nude) pumps with bare legs elongate and slim your gams Skinny heels are slimming, but can look disproportional on thicker legs; choose a more substantial heel to balance everything out.

LADIES! Listen to me carefully, I mean no harm. Sneakers and dresses do not go together! Do not let people deceive you into believing that. Nooo, don’t do it. You cannot wear a mini dress with Jordan’s, and you can’t wear a maxi dress with vans. I know how comfy it is and I know how easy it is to pull out old faithful when it comes to running out the house, but look to sandals – specifically gladiators they are quick and easy and usually quite comfortable.
Gladiators: This Roman footwear can be paired with a long tunic dress or maxi-style halter dress. Most gladiator sandals are versatile, and look good with either plain or trendy dresses, mini or maxi. Ballet flats are a classic that never goes out of style, ballet flats lend a trendy yet ladylike touch to an outfit.
Now about these Flip-flops, As comfortable as these super-casual shoes are, they are not meant for anywhere other than the beach or the spa. If you must run errands in them, the fashion police may look the other way if they are in a good mood. But don't make this mistake of these shoes becoming your everyday pair

Now the fall favorite: Boots.
No shoe closet is complete without a great pair of knee-high boots, and no fashionista is complete without a good pair of thigh-high boots. Pair with leggings to extend the boot, nice pair of denim jeans, better yet right before it gets too cold pair it with some shorts and moto jacket. All eyes would be on you. Also, equestrian boots look great over skinny jeans. Booties with a heel make a run-of-the-mill knee-length skirt into a fashion statement,. Even cowboy booties get new life when paired with a cute sundress and cowboy boots with jeans.
Winter calls for boots, wider heels (to avoid slipping), loafers and flats. Fall is flexible too, but avoid the sandals and espadrilles -- they are a bit too summery for the heavier fabrics of the season.

What you wear on your feet can totally transform the rest of your look. The right shoe can elongate and slim your legs, dress your gown up or down, make you flirty, business-like or vampy, and basically make or break your entire look. (But hey, no pressure.) That’s why we are here for you, to make you look and feel like the best you there is. Let us know if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions for the next topic. We love hearing from you guys!

Tips to Keeping Shoes Forever

Hi you all!  Today we are going to give you all some amazing tips on how to make your shoes last! You guys brought the best of the best, and broke the bank on those pair you just had to bless your closer with them. Are you ready for it? I know you all want to learn how to make those expensive shoes last as long as they are worth. It’s only right! So enough teasing, we’re going to give you all tips for men and women shoes. I know I know, it’s too much wonderfulness for you guys to handle.  But prepare yourself for the top 5.

Tip 1: The simplest and most valuable way to protect your shoes from…just life is to replace the bottom sole and use heel caps before they even touch the pavement. The sole adds grip to the shoe, less slips and falls. Guys this also applies to you but more remember to replace your sole when needed. The heel cap protects the heel from wearing down too soon. Also from those deadly cracks in sideways. I know I have scraped a good amount of heels from those never failing cracks.

Tip 2: You guys and gals aren’t ready for this one, I already know. Magic Eraser’s you know the one’s from Mr. Clean, yes the bald guy. Those are great for removing stains from light colored shoes. BUT use them as soon as you see the stain heels, sneakers, or flats. Mr. Clean might be able to revitalize your shoes. A quick way to avoid the petty stains all together is to remember to waterproof your shoes, very simple and very useful.

Tip 3:  If you really want your shoes to last and be just as wonderful as the day they were dusted off and put on display, KEEP THE BOX. Or at the VERY least the shoe bag. The box is the bed for the shoes and the bag is the blanket. You can have one without the other, but why? Leave enough space between them so they aren’t squished and can breathe. Keep out of direct sunlight so the color doesn’t fade.

Tip 4: Fix problems as soon as they happen! No really as soon as it happened, stains, broken heel or seam, or messed up sole anything. Treat it as a wound, the sooner the better. You can’t be too soon, but you can be too late when it comes to certain wear and tear. So just be aware of the warnings signs of your shoes.

Tip 5: For the modern day gentleman, remember to polish your shoes on a regular to keep the supple, shiny, and a bit water resistant. Shoetrees are great for retaining the shape of your shoe it also stops the creasing from daily wear. Those are much better for the gentl
